Vapor Blasting is a similar process as soda blasting, or sand blasting, but with a very different outcome.

Vapor Blasting uses a very specific, microscopic media that is mixed with the right amount of water and air pressure. This combination will gently "micro polish" the surface of any metal. This is especially great for softer metals such as brass and aluminum. It will follow the existing contours of the surface without causing further pitting or dulling effects.

After vapor blasting a cast aluminum surface, you can expect for the new brighter finish to last much longer than a newly casted part as it has a much smoother, less porous finish. The Action of the media hammering the the surface actually peens the surface pores closed, giving you a surface that is more stain-resistant and harder than when it was new.
